MIAMI ~ #37 PAINTING A DAY Copyright 2013

Living in Miami, Florida since 1986 is about the aqua bay water reflected against the various islands creating an abstract painting of positive and negative spaces.  The shimmering water in various shades of blue is a constant theme of my paintings whether it be in the sculpted large format paintings or this new series of mixed media art.  MIAMI is painted with mixed media paints on a 6"x6" Gessobord panel.

AQUA WATER ~ #28 PAINTING A DAY Copyright 2013

The AQUA WATER of Miami... Florida with it's oceans, bay and lakes is what has kept me painting for the last 20+ years.  The sun shining on the ocean as it reflects the colors of turquoise, aqua, greens and deep blues.  This has been one of the main inspirations for all my sculpted large paintings and now my 6"x6" PAINTING A DAY mixed media art.

TURQUOISE DREAM ~ #7 Painting A Day Copyright 2013

Turquoise is a color that reminds me of the ocean on a sunny day in Florida... Many of my paintings are of the water (ocean) with the color turquoise.  This is an abstract mixed media painting on a 6" x 6" Gessobord panel.
